The story of Dragon Ball
Dragon Ball follows the adventurous life of Goku the main hero in this epic saga of love, friendship and the quest to find and recover the Seven magic Dragon balls and summon forth the Eternal dragon and be granted a single wish.
After his grandpa Gohan passes away he is left in a world that is widely unknown to him. Until he runs into a strange young blue haired girl named Bulma, who herself is on the journey to find the seven magic dragon balls so that she can have her selfish wish of a new boyfriend granted to her by the eternal dragon Shenron. who only awakes from his deep slumber once a year if all Seven Dragon Balls can be gathered together. Once the wish has been granted the Dragon ball turn to a form that looks like stone for a whole year while Shenron return to his deep slumber.
Goku and Bulma start off on their amazing journey together when they run into a talking Turtle who is really far from home after being tricked by a cunning rabbit into a race. 100 miles away from the sea the Turtle asks Goku for a lift. Goku being the kind soul he is accepts and give the Turtle a helping hand. Bulma is unhappy about this as its taking time away from her selfish quest.
As Goku return Turtle to the sea the turtle wants to give Goku a give as a thank you for helping him return home the Turtle ask Goku to wait here for him to return (of course Bulma is not happy about this).
Turtle is gone a long time but does return with a friend The Great Master Roshi the Turtle hermit. After Turtle tells Roshi what the pure hearted boy has done the Great Master is amazed that there are still pure honest people in the world and offers him a gift that only those of a pure heart could use the NIMBUS. Roshi explanes to Goku about the cloud and Bulma over hears and belives she is pure of heart and trys to jump on the Nimbus cloud but falls right through to the ground. brave Goku jumps in the air with out a second thought and land on the cloud and takes off on it like a rocket much to the amazement of Bulma Roshi and the Turtle.
While Goku and Roshi tell storys Bulma notices a round ball on the neck of the Old Turtle Hermit and see that it is non other then a Dragon Ball and begs him for it after a bit of convincing the Old Master agrees to give it to her partly for helping Turtle.
Once again they set out on their quest but rumors of the dragon balls start to spread and it grabs the ear of Yamcha the Desert Bandit. Yamcha being totally afraid of girls wants to retrieve the Dragon Balls to wish away his fears so he might get a girlfriend.
Young Goku not being able to eat his breakfast that Bulma makes for him. not used to these strange foods that the young girl cooks up. goes with out food .
They take off once again but soon run into trouble as Yamcha races towards them. As Goku and Yamcha fight over the magic Dragon Balls. Goku surcomes to his hungry and loses the battle with the desert bandit as he searchs Goku for the Dragon Balls he notice Bulma and who is staring at him. Being as afraid of girls as he is he freaks out and runs off with out obtaining the Dragon Balls.
Goku awakes and the team take off once again in their quest. as day gives away to night the team decides to stop for the night Goku not happy about missing breakfast go's off to find food as Yamcha stalks in the night. Once Goku returns with his delicious dinner of lizards and worms. After dinner they turn in and Yamcha takes his lead and breaks into camp to steal the Dragon Balls as morning returns the team notices the balls missing and search out this bandit to get back what is theirs.
Once the team finds the desert bandit. Goku once again being at full strength and handles this thief with no effort and takes back his Dragon Balls Yamcha seeing the real strength of the young boy is totally amazed and decides to tail the group as they continue onward.
It's not long before the two run across a village that is being terrorized. As the two explore the village they find out that the village's young girls are being taken away by Oolong. While asking around about the trouble in the village they run into a old lady who offers them a Dragon Ball if they can return the stolen girls and put an end tp Oolong reign of terror.
Goku heads out to Oolongs castle and confronts Oolong but its not long before he finds out this fiend is a weak little shape changing pig. After Goku teaches Oolong a little lesson about not taking what is not his. He frees the stolen girls and returns to the village with Oolong in tow. After Goku tells the villagers about the weak little Oolong they feel a bit of pity for him and lets him go free and "tags" along with the group as Bulma believes his shape changing may come in handy.
The group takes off towards the next dragon ball and soon they find out that the dragon ball is owned by the fearsome OX king of Fire Mountain Goku soon finds the Ox king and asks about the Dragon Ball and learns that the Dragon Ball is in his castle on top of Fire Mountain The Ox King tells Goku he can have the ball if he can stop the fires. Not knowing what he can do to stop the blaze he returns to his new master and asks for help. Once Roshi learns of the tales of the Ox King he feels he must go to help as the Ox king was once a student of the Old master
Soon they return to Fire Mountain and after Roshi scolds the Ox King for the way he has been treating the people of his kingdom the Ox King begs his old master for forgiveness and begs the Turtle Hermit to help put out the flames on Fire Mountain as the master agrees to help his old student he tells about a powerful attack that he has developed over the past 50 year and believes it might help remove the flames.
The old master starts building up the energy needed for the attack and releases a powerful blast that completely destroys the mountain and the castle that sat on top.. Goku watching how the old master preformed decides to try it out for himself as young Goku practices Roshi and the Ox King talk about old time til they notice Goku release the infamous energy blast known as the Kamehameha wave.
Once Roshi sees the Kamehameha's release that Goku has preformed he notices a red Power Pole asks Goku where he got it from. Goku tells him about his grandpa Gohan much to the amazement of Roshi he finds out that Gohan is non other then his old student and asks young Goku how he is doing. Goku tells Roshi what has happened and that he joined up with bulma on her quest to find all Seven Magic Dragon Balls.
After Roshi and Goku finish talking about Gohan. Roshi asks Goku to return to him after his quest is finished so he may continue his training as the old see the great strength hidden deep inside the young boy. Goku is very excited about being train by his grandpas old master and agrees to return to him once he has finished.
Now that they have 6 of the Magic Dragon Balls they head off in the direction of the last ball that leads them to the realm of the evil Pilaf. As the group explores the castle that hold the Dragon Ball its not long before they get caught in a trap room that uses solar power to cook Pilaf enemy's like a microwave. As night sets in Goku tells the group a story about the giant ape that killed his grand father as Goku lays there talking and looking up at the night sky. The moon comes into view and tonight it was full as Goku sits there he starts felling funny and then starts to transform into the same beast from his story. As Goku changes into this huge beast he destroys the room around the group and enables them to escape just to find out that the evil Pilaf has called upon the dragon.
Pilaf noticing that a beast is destroying his castle gets distracted from making his wish. The group runs towards the dragon to claim the wish for themselves knowing they don't have much time Oolong shape shifts and makes his wish for the world most comfortable underwear. After making the wish come true the dragon returns to the Dragon Balls as he does the balls turn to stone and shoot off in all directions.
Goku still in his ape form sees are group and being in this form Goku loses all but his most basic animal instincts and charges at the group. Yamcha decides to step in and help. he asks for a helping hand from his shape changing partner Pa'ur. Pa'ur quickly changes into a huge pair of scissors and cut off Goku's tail. As she does Goku returns back to original form after he does the group runs to Goku and finds Yamcha standing by him.
After Bulma and the rest of the group tell Yamcha about their strange adventure. Bulma looking for a boyfriend sees Yamcha as just that so in the end they got their wishes fulfilled without any magical wish.
As daytime comes Goku tells the rest of the group that he plans to honor his word to go train with the Turtle Hermit and takes off to the Turtle Hermit's island
